DirectScan is used for easy and quick scanning of a document via a connected  TWAIN/WIA Scanner and make it available as a PDF(/A) / TIFF or JPEG file in the filesystem. Softwaredevloper are able to extend their applications with the support of the Commandline-, .NET- or Active-X-interfaceohne without much effort with scan functions.
