With Office2PDFA an application was developed to automatically convert Microsoft Office documents (e.g. MS-Office 2003 or MS-Office 2007), HTML, MSG, ZIP and many more formats to the ISO conform PDF/A document format for longterm archiving. The conversion results from an print process out of the original application based on our eDocPrintPro PDF/A printer driver.

Collections of different documents in an .ZIP can be sent to the converter and the result will be an complete PDF/A with all the sourcefiles in a bookmarkstructure.

Optional it is possible to sign the documents with a PDF/A conform digital signature.

The conversion embeds missing fonts and optimizes them on creating subgroups. Device-independent or missing color profiles will be substitued by defined ICC color profiles. Forbidden (JavaScript...) and unnecessary content will be removed and substituted by correct content.

Also the AutoOCR functions for OCR are available to create full text searchable PDF/A documents.
